The Ask
Quince is a new kind of luxury brand that offers high-quality products at a more accessible price point. From materials to transportation to packaging, sustainability is at the core of Quince’s mission.
The e-commerce brand reached out to Likely to create their very first mailers so that their packaging would help them achieve sustainability at every step of their supply chain.
The Solution
Likely created compostable mailers made of a combination of PBAT, a bio-based material, and PLA, a plant-based material (in this case, made from cornstarch). Both are biodegradable; the mailers decompose into soil within 180 days and are certified compostable at home or commercially. Likely customized three sizes for the brand, all featuring Quince’s clean, minimal design.
